DAY 1 Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park
(175 km, 3 to 4 hours)

  • We will pick you from your Nairobi hotel and depart for a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, located on the floor of the Great Rift Valley.
  • Arrive in time for lunch.
  • Afternoon will be spent game-driving in this scenic park where the wildlife is concentrated around the magnificent lake.
  • The birdlife is world-renowned with more than 450 species, and you may see stunning flocks of lesser and greater flamingos, which literally turn the lakeshore a brilliant pink.
  • Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the very few places in Africa to see both the white and black rhino, the rare Rothschild giraffe, and lion and leopard are frequently seen.
  • Numerous antelope include gazelle, waterbuck and impala, and at the scenic lookout points on the cliffs overlooking the lake, you’ll spot playful baboons and Vervet monkeys.
  • Dinner and overnight at a comfortable safari camp/lodge.

ITINERARY

DAY 1 Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve
(265 km, 5 to 6 hours)

  • Your African safari will begin at 7.30am, where we will pick you from your hotel, residence, or the airport.
  • And begin your adventure towards to Masai Mara.
  • This will be your chance to become acquainted with the countryside of Kenya, as you watch the villages, plains, and mountains pass you by.
  • You will have a stop-over for a traditional Kenyan lunch before arriving at the Masai Mara.
  • With no time to waste, you will immediately embark on your first game drive through the park. This is your chance to start ticking off the list of animals you’re aiming to see earlier on in your trip, with everything from elephants to baboons, lions to buffalo ready to be seen.
  • At dusk you will be taken to your Lodge/Camp for dinner and overnight rest.

DAY 1 NAIROBI LAKE NAKURU (168KM 3 to 4 hours)

  • You will be picked from you Nairobi hotel/residence/airport early in the morning.
  • 3 to 4hours drive along Nairobi-Nakuru Highway through Great Rift Valley Escarpments will lead you to Lake Nakuru National Park.
  • Enjoy short game viewing drive en-route to your lodge/camp.
  • Arrive at the lodge/camp in time for lunch.
  • Afternoon game viewing drive will follow where you will enjoy watching flocks of Flamingoes feed and dance over the water.
  • You will also encounter more than 450 Bird Species as well as many more wildlife.
  • Return to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

14 DAYS 13 NIGHTS AMBOSELI/NAIVASHA/MASAI MARA/SERENGETI/NGORONGORO/TARANGIRE/ZANZIBAR

DAY 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
(250 km, 4 to 5 hours)

  • We will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel at 7.30am.
  • We drive to Amboseli National Park to start your Kenyan safari. With ever-present views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
  • Arrive mid-morning and enjoy the first game viewing drive of your 14 days safari.
  • We then proceed to the Lodge/Camp for check-in and lunch.
  • After lunch we spend the whole afternoon in the park for game viewing drive across the savannah scattered with beautiful yellow-barked acacia woodland.
  • You will see the abundance of herbivores including wildebeest, Burchell’s zebra and Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelle, while large herds of buffalo and elephant roam across the vast dusty plains.
  • Dinner will be served at your camp/lodge and you can reflect on your first day on African safari.
