SAFARI ITINERARY
DAY 1 NAIROBI – AMBOSELI 250KM (Approximately 4 Hours)
- Pick-up from you Nairobi hotel or residence/airport.
- Depart for Amboseli via Nairobi- Mombasa Highway.
- Arrive Amboseli in time for lunch.
- After lunch, embark on afternoon game drive in search of lions, zebras, elephants, Buffaloes, dikdik, antelopes among many other animals.
- Dinner and overnight at you Amboseli Lodge/tented camp.
Day 2 FULL DAY GAME VIEWING AT AMBOSELI
- Today you will get plenty of time to soak up the wildlife and magnificient scenery.
- Pre-breakfast game viewing drive.
- After breakfast a mid-morning game viewing drive will follow.
- Enjoy your lunch at the hotel.
- After lunch you will enjoy yet another game drive
- You will also have enough time to relax in your lodge/camp in between the game drives.
- Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.
DAY 3 AMBOSELI - LAKE NAIVASHA (340 KM Approcimately 5.50hrs)
- After breakfast we depart Amboseli for Lake Naivasha.
- A brief stop to view the Great Rift Valley Escarpments.
- Arrive Lake Naivasha in time for lunch.
- Afternoon visit to Hell’s Gate National Park to hike and explore the canyons.
- We shall hire bicycles and ride to Hell’s gate as we view small game.
- Dinner and overnight at you camp.
DAY 4 LAKE NAIVASHA-MASAI MARA (240 KM APPROXIMATELY 5 HOURS)
- We shall start our day by a morning boat ride as we explore Lake Naivasha and spot bird species, hippos etc.
- The boat ride will take us to Crescent Island where we will have a guided walking safari.
- Later we proceed to Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch.
- After lunch we relax as we bid time for afternoon game drive.
- Dinner and overnight at your Masai Mara Lodge/Camp.
DAY 5 EXTRAVAGNAZA GAME VIEWING DRIVE AT MASAI MARA
- Early morning pre-breakfast game viewing drive.
- After breakfast we shall proceed for mid-morning game drive.
- Being a whole day unlimited game drives we hall go back to the park in the afternoon with a visit to Mara river where we may watch hippos and crocodiles or maybe the great migration. (July- October).
- Dinner and overnight at your Masai Mara Lodge/Camp.
DAY 6 MASAI MARA-NAIROBI (265KMS approximately 6 hours)
- Last day of our safari kicks off with an early morning pre-breakfast game viewing drive.
- Return to the lodge for breakfast ad check-out.
- After breakfast enjoy and extra final game viewing drive as we exit the park.
- Depart Masai Mara for Nairobi with a lunch stop on the way.
- Arrive Nairobi late in the afternoon.
- Drop off at your Nairobi hotel/residence or airport.
